Gingerbread Cookie that Sits on Your Cup

Just when I thought I couldn't see anything cuter this holiday season than my dog in a homemade sweater, I found the most adorable gingerbread cookies that can sit on the edge of a coffee mug.

The gingerbread houses are miniature forms of the houses that we are accustomed to seeing around the holidays with one little exception.  Both ends have doors in them allowing them to be placed on the rim of a glass or mug.  You can make the doors different widths to accommodate different widths of glasses/mugs.

Megan at www.notmartha.org has really outdone herself this time and she even went so far to make these little houses out of sugar cookie dough also.  I'll be trying my luck with these soon!
